Description

Rapid Cronobacter sakazakii Detection

HardyCHROM Sakazakii is a chromogenic medium recommended for the selective isolation and differentiation of Cronobacter (Enterobacter) sakazakii from other members of the Enterobacteriaceae family.  

  • C. sakazakii produces smooth, turquoise colonies on HardyCHROM
  • Other members of the Enterobactericeae family will produce white or colourless colonies with or without black centres
  • All gram-positive bacteria and yeast will be inhibited
