Retort-Checks
Retort Canning Process Indicators
Retort-Checks are indicators used as a food processing indicator. Designed for steam pressure cooking of low-acid foods.
The Retort-Check is designed to change colour from purple to green when the correct conditions are met during the retort processing. The colour change is a highly effective means of determining batch status and prevents unprocessed or under processed products entering the supply chain. They also provide a permanent record of processing and ensure compliance with regulations.
