Pre-moistened environmental swabs

 Designed to sample critical surfaces including nozzles and equipment, the Steriswab offers a reliable tool for any microbial hygiene monitoring program. The rayon bud is pre-moistened with a sterile phosphate buffer providing optimal recovery of microorganisms, even if present in low numbers, from any test surface. 

The swab is supplied in a convenient tamper-evident labelled tube which is also used for transportation to the laboratory for testing. The shaft with a 45mm breakpoint allows the swabs to be readily transferred into other systems when required. The blue colour of the shaft provides high visibility of the swab allowing rapid recovery if dropped at any stage of the testing regime.

Steriswabs are tripled wrapped for sterile handling in controlled premises and are sterilised by irradiation.
