The BioTool Swiss PetriSwiss PS900 is a high-performance, fully automated Petri dish filling system designed for industrial and large-scale laboratory environments. It provides precision, speed, and hygienic media dispensing with integrated contamination control. Capable of filling up to 900 Petri dishes per hour, the PS900 is ideal for microbiological, pharmaceutical, food, and clinical laboratories requiring efficient and reproducible agar plate preparation.
Principle of Operation
The PetriSwiss PS900 uses a synchronized carousel and robotic arm system that transports Petri dishes beneath a precision dispensing nozzle. The system integrates a dual 10-roller peristaltic pump for accurate dosing of sterile agar directly from a media preparator or reservoir. An automatic stacking mechanism collects filled dishes in programmable stack sizes (1–20 plates), while a built-in UV-C sterilization system maintains aseptic conditions within the filling chamber.
