Range of Sizes to Suit Every Application

Containers are available in 30 mL, 70 mL, 120 mL, 250 mL, and 500 mL volumes, providing flexibility for everything from small swab eluates to bulk water samples and environmental grab sampling. This variety ensures that operators can select the container size that best aligns with regulatory methods, laboratory workflows, and the physical properties of the material being collected.

Sterile and Non-Sterile Options

Choose between sterile and non-sterile formats depending on your application.
Sterile containers are gamma-irradiated or EO-treated and individually wrapped, making them ideal for pathogen testing, aseptic sampling, and high-risk microbiology workflows.
Non-sterile containers provide an economical solution for routine sampling, ingredient collection, solids, powders, and non-critical QA activities.

Available With or Without Labels

Containers can be supplied with or without pre-applied labels.
Labelled options include fields for sample identification, date, operator, and traceability information, supporting HACCP, NATA/NZLP, ISO 17025 workflows, and chain-of-custody requirements.
Unlabelled versions offer flexibility for internal labelling systems or bespoke tracking processes.

 

Choice of Plastics to Match Your Needs

To ensure compatibility with different sampling conditions and laboratory requirements, containers are available in Polystyrene (PS), Polypropylene (PP), or Polycarbonate (PC):

• Polystyrene provides excellent clarity for visual inspection.

• Polypropylene offers superior chemical resistance and is suitable for autoclaving.

• Polycarbonate delivers outstanding strength and transparency for demanding sampling conditions.

 

 

Sodium Thiosulphate-Dosed Containers for Water Testing

For potable water and environmental water microbiology, containers can be supplied pre-dosed with Sodium Thiosulphate to neutralise chlorine and other residual disinfectants.
This prevents biocide carryover and ensures accurate enumeration of microorganisms such as coliforms, E. coli, heterotrophic bacteria, and other waterborne organisms—critical for compliance monitoring, municipal water testing, cooling tower inspections, and HACCP verification programs.
