Brazil Nut (Bertholletia excels), which belongs to the order of Ericales, has protein fraction of 13%. Very low amounts of Brazil Nut residue can cause allergic reactions including anaphylactic shock. The food industry uses Brazil Nuts as an ingredient in a variety of products which may be manufactured in the same area as products which claim to be free of this tree nut. 

Each test kit comes with a plate contining removable antibody coated wells, extraction buffer, diluent, Soy protein standard, wash solution, horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody, chromagenic substrate solution, stop solution, 

Swabs for surface testing are available separately.
