Soybean (Glycine max) is a legume which has been used for thousands of years as a food and is used throughout the food industry as emulsifiers and binders. Soybean is highly nutritious and has a high protein content, some of which trigger allergic reactions in susceptible people. Food manufacturers must consider cross contamination when producing foods which claim to be soy free. As a result, there is a need for sensitive detection systems. The 3M Soy Protein test kit will provide reliable and sensitive results helping prevent the release of contaminated product in the marketplace.

Each test kit comes with a plate contining removable antibody coated wells, extraction buffer, diluent, Soy protein standard, wash solution, horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody, chromagenic substrate solution, stop solution, 

Swabs for surface testing are available separately.
